Japan - Kinshuu Hotspring (I)

July 15, 2017

Stressing from work? Longing for a getaway?

Follow me to experience this beautiful hotspring resort located near Tokyo, Japan.

http://www.kinshuu.com/

How to get there:

Take Shinkansen (the train system in Japan) from Tokyo to Jōmō-Kōgen (2 hours).

Once you know your arrival time, call the resort and they will send a car to pick you up at the Jōmō-Kōgen train station.

After about 40 minutes drive, you are here:

The trees are so green and the air is so fresh here in the mountain.

What a hidden gem:

Come on in ; )

Check-in Lobby.

Love the traditional Japanese decor:

Once you're checked in, there will be a very pretty Japanese lady take you to the room:

Ready to see the room?

 Welcome drinks:

The traditional Japanese Tatami are so comfy:

And there is a real hotspring running 24 hours inside the room!

Slide the window open, jump in:

Tea time after a relaxing bath:

Loving this kimono provided by the resort.

Do I look like a real Japanese lady?

Ok, now dinner time!

Dinning room:

Sake?

There is no menu, everything is arranged by the chef.

Look at these dishes:

Everything is so pretty, I wanna steal the utensils home lol:

Please tell me your mouth is watering.

I have tried Japanese food all over the world, but this meal? Was magical.

Everything is so well presented and super tasty.  And the chef's attention to detail, made the whole experience even better.
